The Ontario Business Improvement Area Association (OBIAA) is a pivotal organization that represents and supports Business Improvement Areas (BIAs) across Ontario. OBIAA's mission is to support and advocate for its members through the building and nurturing of strong relationships and partnerships. The association aims to be the single voice on common issues affecting BIAs, promoting positive community and economic change. OBIAA collectively represents over 300 BIAs in Ontario, which in turn encompass more than 110,000 local businesses and over 20,000 property owners.

Ottawa Coalition of Business Improvement Areas



The Ottawa Coalition of Business Improvement Areas (OCOBIA) is a member-driven non-profit organization that represents and supports the interests of 18 Business Improvement Areas (BIAs) across rural, suburban, and urban Ottawa. OCOBIA envisions a welcoming and safe Ottawa built around strong, vibrant, and livable main streets where residents can live, work, and grow businesses. The mission of OCOBIA is to advocate for the BIA model with local, provincial, and federal stakeholders, serve as a resource for its member BIAs in developing hyper-local economies, and partner with collaborators to support main street businesses.

The Regroupement des Sociétés de développement commercial du Québec (RSDCQ) is an organization that represents and supports the interests of various Sociétés de développement commercial (SDC) across Quebec. The RSDCQ represents more than 50 SDCs established in 25 municipalities across 13 administrative regions of Quebec. These SDCs collectively represent over 20,000 businesses. The members of these SDCs invest approximately $25 million annually in private capital to enhance the vitality of their city centers and commercial areas.

Toronto Association of Business Improvement Areas



The Toronto Association of Business Improvement Areas (TABIA) is a non-profit umbrella organization that plays a crucial role in supporting and coordinating the activities of Business Improvement Areas (BIAs) within the City of Toronto. TABIA represents the City of Toronto's approximately 83-85 BIAs, which in turn represent over 40,000 to 90,000 business and property owners. TABIA offers various resources, including assistance programs, training, and financial incentives to help BIAs achieve their goals. It also provides information on establishing and maintaining a BIA, sample business plans, and advice on running effective meetings.
